Rebecca Fitzgerald receives BSG Sir Arthur Hurst Lecture award

Congratulations to Early Detection Programme Co-Lead, Prof Rebecca Fitzgerald on being awarded the Sir Arthur Hurst Lecture Award by the British Society of Gastroenterology. The prize, named after the Society’s founder, is granted at the President’s discretion and the winner is invited to give a keynote lecture at the BSG Annual Meeting. Rebecca’s lecture, on Pioneering Technologies to Detect GI Cancer Earlier was given at the virtual event on 29th January 2021. The award winner also receives a copy of the Arthur Hurst lectures book, rebound with their lecture included, inscribed by the President.
