Predict Prostate has been awarded for research impact & public engagement

The PREDICT Prostate tool has been awarded a University of Cambridge Vice Chancellors award for research impact & public engagement.

The tool is used to compare outcomes from conservative management (or monitoring) with radical treatment (surgery or radiotherapy). It is the first individualised prognostic tool accessible to both clinicians and patients to help make unbiased informed decisions about the value of treatment for newly diagnosed prostate cancer.

Mr Vincent Gnanapragasam, member of the CRUK Cambridge Centre Urological Malignancies programme, is the Chief Investigator for the PREDICT Prostate tool.
